Facilities

Library is the repository of knowledge where a student or researcher can get a free and early access to the required information. CKM is proud of having one of the best libraries in this part of Telangana.
 
Library includes wide range of books and journals providing an extensive access to leading national journals and periodicals with an impressive collection of standard books on Arts, commerce and science.
 
The library resource centre subscribes to 25 professional journals 10 periodicals and has 63,869 books. It subscribes 10 magazines and ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­7071 reference books. It works from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adoption of modern I.T. tools has enabled the CKM library to leapfrog into the big league in a short span of time.
 
The college has a well equipped library around 5000 square feet with a spacious and well furnished reading, reference, stack room and e-library. The college has been utilizing the management funds and financial aid of the UGC in strengthening the library.
 
Library supports the information needs to students, Teaching & Non-teaching staff and supports them to become more enlightened, knowledgeable and responsible citizens.
 
Objective:
 
The primary objective of our library is to provide information and knowledge to its users through its document collection. Our library acquires, assimilates the different types of documents for the efficient use of the readers.
 
Functions:
 
The basic function of the college library is to assist its parent body to carryout its requirements of the teachers and students towards reading and research.
 
Library layout:  Library is organized into
 
Reading Room and Periodical section
 
It subscribes 25 journals, 10 periodicals, 10 dailies and 10 magazines which are the major attraction for any genuine learner. It accommodates 80 students of seating capacity including separate study table for women.
 
Stack Room and circulation section
 
Books will be issued under borrower card system. Degree I/II/III year students were issued 3/4/5 books accordingly.
 
 
Reference section
 
It is meant for desirous and serious readers, it is equipped with one or two copies of books according to the demand of subject of all text & reference books prescribed in the syllabus. It also includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, yearbooks and competitive examination related books. It accommodates 20 users, back volumes of the journals are also been preserved for the purpose.
 
E-library:
 
In the process of automation and adoption of modern technology e- library is established with 8 computers for the benefit of the students where student can access to internet with 8 mbps, e-journals (6000+) and e-books (97000+) under NLIST programme of INFLIBNET, Gujarat.

Rules and Regulations
 
All the students and staff of the college can use the all sections of the Library.
 
The students must produce his/her identity card while entering into the Library
 
The students are not allowed to carry their books along with them into the library
 
Strict discipline will be maintained in the library
 
The students can read the dailies, magazines and other subject books in the well spacious reading / reference section, it is so framed that it doesn’t disturb the students from one another and eco-friendly.
 
Students are facilitated with news paper clippings / current affairs through competitive books and journals.
 
All the bonafide students of the college can borrow books from the library
 
If the book is lost, double the cost of the book will be collected.
 
The borrower should satisfy him/her self about the physical condition of the book while leaving the library.
 
Latest borrower will be held responsible for any kind of damage / disfigurement / overwriting etc.
